NaMo is the first 4D movie in India to be directed by Rupesh Paul. It is a political thriller inspired by the charisma the Indian political leader, Narendra Modi. "The film will not be like any other earlier dry political drama. But it would be a treat as a political thriller like The day of the Jackal, JFK or The Manchurian Candidate. Though the film is loosely based on the life of Narendra Modi, the script will take enough creative freedom and will have romance in it which very much absent from the life of the real NaMo," said Rupesh Paul. He even added, It will be an inspirational movie for sure."

Apart from Rupesh Paul, it is also rumoured that Madhur Bhandarkar is also planning to make a movie on Narendra Modi.

It is rumoured that Victor Banerjee has been selected by Rupesh Paul to play the role of Modi in NaMo. Some also reported that Paresh Rawal is doing the film.

As no actor name is still known, we can really imagine who all actors can play NaMo on-screen.
