Kiev: Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko is ready to extend by 72 hours a ceasefire with pro-Russian rebels which is due to expire later Friday, diplomatic sources said. Poroshenko, due to give a press conference shortly, made the offer after signing a "historic" association accord with the EU which Russia attacked bitterly, saying it had split Ukraine in two.
