TAIPEI, July 24
TAIPEI, July 24 (Reuters) - Shares of Taiwan's TransAsia Airways opened down by the maximum seven percent allowed in one session on Thursday after one of its planes crashed while trying to land in a thunderstorm on Wednesday.
At the opening bell, TransAsia stock dropped 7 percent, while the broader market rose 0.3 percent. (Reporting by Faith Hung; Editing by Paul Tait)
