Jyoti's diaries: Piyush talked to GF post marriage - Times of India

KANPUR: A police team recovered two personal diaries of Jyoti during a search in Dasanis' house on Friday. Jyoti, wife of Piyush Shyam Dasani, was found brutally murdered in a car in Panki area late on Sunday night.

The diaries were not shown to Jyoti's in-laws, who were present in the house at the time of search. Later, Circle Officer Rakesh Nayak said that the diary was sent to experts to examine its content. "The content of Jyoti's personal diaries indicate that her husband Piyush Dasani was having an affair with some girl," he said.

In the diary, Jyoti had written how she was ignored by her husband Piyush during honeymoon in Switzerland. "Even then, he frequently used to make calls to his girlfriend," the content of the diary read.

The CO further said the police would now try to open the two almirahs of Jyoti.

The police, meanwhile, late on Thursday night said they had recovered blood-stained clothes of Renu and Sonu from their house. "Blood stains were found on Renu's shirt. The shirt has been sent to forensic lab. Earlier, the cops had recovered a handkerchief with blood stains from Sonu," said SSP KS Emanuel.

The most vital piece of evidence, according to police, was the recovery of Jyoti's jewellery and keys of Honda-Accord vehicle thrown away by the killers in Rawatpur.
