Karim Morani, a Bollywood producer and an accused in the 2G scam, allegedly came under threat from the underworld.

The Juhu (Mumbai) residence of the Morani family was fired upon thrice by three unidentified motorcycle-borne gunmen on Saturday night. The shooting, the police believe, was a warning sign from a fugitive gangster whose threats to the family demanding the overseas rights of an upcoming Shah Rukh Khan-starrer were not heeded. Karim was threatened by the fugitive mobster a few months ago.
