LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today said there is need to provide necessary facilities to the physically challenged so that they can also achieve success and lead their lives like any other person.
"Physically challenged are no less than any other person. They also have talent and courage. If they are provided facilities they can also achieve success and lead their lives successfully," he said at a programme at his residence here.
Akhilesh said it is the responsibility of society and the government to provide facilities to the physically challenged.
In this regard, the state government is taking steps for their rehabilitaion and progress, he said.
