In minutes to go Prime Minister Narendra Modi's media team will upload a picture that will show Isro scientists handing over the hard copy of the first five pictures sent by the Mars Colour Camera (MCC) aboard India's mars orbiter mission (MOM) spacecraft on his facebook page.
Soon after that Isro will make public the same on its social media pages.
Giving his first reaction after the success of MOM Isro chief K Radhakrishnan, who spoke to TOI from Delhi said: "We've done our job!"
"Everything looks great. It's now time to enjoy MOM's work in space. She's made us proud by reaching the Red Planet, following a meticulously prescribed path and course," he said over telephone.
Modi on Wednesday had urged Isro's scientists to push the boundaries farther and achieve more.
While the long term goals will be chalked out carefully, the agency, Radhakrishnan told TOI, will push MOM a little harder to achieve more.
