Murtys, Nilekanis Make Most From Infosys Stake Sale - NDTV

Infosys founders sold 3.26 crore shares on Monday to raise over Rs 6,000 crore. The share sale took place at Rs 1,988, a 4 per cent discount to Friday's closing price. Infosys shares came under sharp selling pressure post the bulk sale and the stock fell nearly 5 per cent in intraday trade on Monday.

Here are the details of the share sale,


1) Kumari Shibulal sold 24 lakh shares for nearly Rs 477 crore. Her stake in Infosys has come down from 0.47 per cent to 0.263 per cent post the share sale today.


2) NR Narayana Murthy sold 4 lakh shares for nearly Rs 80 crore. His stake in Infosys is down to 0.380 per cent from 0.41 per cent.


3) Sudha Murty sold 56 lakh shares for Rs 1,114 crore. Her stake is down to 0.786 per cent from 1.27 per cent.


4) Akshata Murty sold 60 lakh shares for Rs 1,193 crore. Her stake is down from 1.41 per cent to 0.889 per cent.


5) Nandan Nilekani sold 60 lakh shares for Rs 1,193 crore. His take has dome down to 0.931 per cent from 1.45 per cent.


6) Rohini Nilekani also sold 60 lakh shares for Rs 1,193 crore. Her stake has come down from 1.306 per cent stake to 0.784 per cent


7) Dinesh Krishnaswamy sold 7 lakh shares for Rs 139 crore. His stake has come down to 0.74 per cent from 0.80 per cent.


8) Asha Dinesh sold 40 lakh shares for Rs 795 crore. Her stake is down from 1.23 per cent to 0.879 per cent.


9) Deeksha Dinesh sold nearly 7.50 lakh shares for Rs 149 crore. Her stake is down from 0.24 per cent to 0.174 per cent.


10) Divya Dinesh also sold nearly 7.50 lakh shares for Rs 149 crore. Her stake is down from 0.24 per cent to 0.174 per cent.


A part of the stake sale will go to fund philanthropy, according to reports.
