NEW DELHI: Delhi BJP is planning to kick-start its election campaign with a rally which will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 10. However, the state unit is yet to get a go-ahead for the rally from the PMO and the party brass.
"We are thinking of starting our campaign in the city with a rally by the PM . At the rally, we plan to felicitate the newly appointed BJP chief ministers-Devendra Fadnavis, Manohar Lal Khattar and Raghubar Das," said Praveen Shankar Kapoor, media convener, Delhi BJP.
Party sources said the national BJP is yet to clear the plan.
