Recovering from a respiratory tract infection, Congress President Sonia Gandhi was discharged today from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
“Her condition is stable at the time of discharge. She has been advised to rest and continue her medications,” said Dr D S Rana, Chairman of Board of Management at the Hospital.
Gandhi, 68, was admitted to the hospital on Thursday evening with lower respiratory tract infection and some breathing difficulty.
She was under the care of Dr Arup Kumar Basu, Chairman of Chest Medicine at the hospital.
