Administrator quits, takes Delhi Congress site down - Times of India

NEW DELHI: Days ahead of the assembly elections, the on-ground battle for Delhi is hotting up thanks to BJP and AAP. While the Congress is missing in action offline, the party's web presence in Delhi has also suffered a jolt.

The website of the Delhi wing of the Congress, DPCC (http://www.dpcc.co.in/) and online edition of the party's national mouthpiece Sandesh (http://ift.tt/1JeMegP) are offline at the moment following site administrator Sanjey Puri's exit from the party. Puri was NSUI's national president and Youth Congress secretary and a member of the party for 30 years. He also headed the Delhi unit's computer and research department.

The DPCC website is currently displaying the following message:

"This site with doman(sic) name DPCC.CO.IN was designed, developed and maintained by Shri Sanjay Puri since 2008 (Member Congress Campaign Committee, DPCC, 2015) He withdraws the services after the resignation from his primary membership of Indian National Congress on 19th January, 2015."

A Whois lookup for the dppcc.co.in domain reveals that the website is registered in the name of Vishal Chauhan with a Delhi address.

As per media reports, Puri quit Congress as he was not given a ticket for the upcoming assembly elections.
