The Election Commission will on Monday announce the dates for the Assembly Election in Delhi.
Delhi has been under President rule since February last year after Arvind Kejriwal-led govt quit after 49 days in office.
Polls were necessitated in Delhi as the term of President’s Rule was due to expire in February.
The Delhi assembly was dissolved in November last year after no party come up with the required number to form the government.
In the 2013 elections, Delhi had delivered a fractured mandate. The BJP won 32 seats while AAP made a spectacular debut bagging 27 seats.
Congress, on the other hand, was reduced to just eight seats in the 70 member assembly after ruling Delhi for 15 years.
