Kareena Kapoor is VHP magazine’s ‘Love Jihad’ cover girl
I am sure Kareena Kapoor is going to feel depressed after seeing her picture morphed on Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s propaganda material. The actress who married co-actor and the nawab of Pataudi Saif Ali Khan is one of the finest actors in India.
The VHP and Bajrang Dal have been creating nefarious propaganda across the country regarding love Jihad. They are making it look as if young Muslim boys are luring the Hindu girls and marrying them off.
After many investigations by both government agencies and private organizations the myth has been debunked vociferously. But these organizations are continuing with the propaganda as it creates fears among the minds of common people living in villages and small towns who have been fed on this propaganda for many years.
Now Kareena Kapoor’s morphed picture has been used on the front page of the VHP’s women magazine ‘Himalaya Vahini’. The issue concentrates on the issue of “Love jihad”. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s half-hearted attempt to rein in such elements seem to have been far from being effective.
With the morphed picture it seems that the VHP’s young women’s wing Durga Vahini has taken her as a right example for the Hindu women who married Muslim men to convert into Hinduism.
A report while talking about the morphed image says, “The cover page of Himalaya Dhwani latest edition shows the morphed face of Kareena, the face is divided into two parts. One parts is covered with burqa while she put on bindi sinddor on the other part. Below the photo reads: “conversion of nationality through religious conversion”.” I am sure this is going to end up in courtroom in the coming days.
