The Supreme Court has reserved its order on the formation of new panel headed by Justice Mukul Mudgal to continue probing the betting and fixing allegations in the Indian Premier League, while the BCCI called the findings submitted so far as erroneous.
Resuming hearing in the petition filed by Bihar Cricket Association chief Aditya Verma, the court heard both sides on Tuesday but reserved its order on the formation of the panel even as BCCI asked for a fresh probe and reinstatement of ousted N Srinivasan as the board's president.

Justice Mudgal, meanwhile, asked for assistance from retired special director of CBI, ML sharma, on the panel, along with police officials from Delhi and Mumbai. He also said that it would take at least four months for the new panel to file its report.

While calling the findings of the Mudgal panel - also comprising eminent lawyers L Nageshwar Rao and Nilay Dutta - as erroneous, the BCCI also contended that nowhere in the deposition transcript did India and Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni and Srinivasan say that for former CSK Team Prinicipal Gurunath Meiyappan was just a cricket enthusiast.
