Polling is underway for third phase of Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal amidst tight security.
Elections is being held in nine Parliamentary seats at Howrah, Uluberia, Sreerampur, Hooghly, Arambag, Burdwan East, Burdwan - Durgapur, Bolpur and Birbhum covering four districts of the state.
Over 1 crore 39 lakhs 57 thousands electorates will determine the political fate of 87 candidates in this phase of polls.
Besides State Police around 208 companies of central Paramilitary forces have been deployed to ensure peaceful voting.
