Nifty trades comfortably above 8400; top 20 intraday trading ideas - Economic Times

NEW DELHI: The 50-share Nifty index surged as much as 51 points in trade on Wednesday to hit its fresh lifetime high of 8414.05, following positive trend in other Asian markets.

Tracking the momentum, the S&P BSE Sensex also managed to rally as much as 216 points in trade to hit its fresh record high of 28126.48, led by gains in ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, HDFC, ITC and TCS.

At 11:30 a.m.; the 50-share index was at 8,413.90, up 50 points or 0.60 per cent. It touched a record high of 8,415.05 and a low of 8,377.95 in early trade.

The S&P BSE Sensex was at 28,105.23, up 195 points or 0.70 per cent. It touched a record high of 28,126.46 and a low of 27,958.64 in early trade.
