Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav had on 5 April given the slogan “one flag, one symbol”, and had dared the BJP to come to Bihar. Though not Bihar’s CM candidate, he is slated to get an important position in the party. Mint

Former chief minister of Haryana Om Prakash Chautala’s party Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) will be part of the alliance. It might not wield much power though as it only has two members in the Lower House and one in the Upper House. HT

JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav will possibly lead the party in the Rajya Sabha. In all, the new party will have 15 members in the Lower House and 30 in the Upper House. HT
