17 pc voting in first two hours in Assam - Press Trust of India

Guwahati, Apr 24 (PTI) Around 17 per cent votes were cast in the first two hours of polling in six Lok Sabha seats in Assam in the third and final phase today amidst tight security.

Election office sources said 21 per cent voting was recorded in Gauhati, 15 per cent in Kokrajhar, 16 per cent in Dhubri, 22 per cent in Barpeta, 16 per cent in Mangaldoi and 11 per cent in Nowgong.
