Vadra snaps: 'Are you serious?' - Calcutta Telegraph

New Delhi, Nov. 1 (PTI): Robert Vadra, the husband of Priyanka Gandhi, today lost his cool and shoved away the microphone of a reporter when he was asked about his land deals in Haryana.

Video footage showed him asking the reporter at Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi: “I mean, are you serious? Are you serious? Are you serious? Are you serious?”

“Are you nuts? What is wrong with you?” Vadra asked as he was led away by his security guards. He was also heard saying, “put your camera off”.

The reporter was asking for Vadra’s reaction to the decision of the new BJP government in Haryana to probe the land deals. When the journalist said his question was legitimate, Vadra asked whether he was the right person to whom answers should be provided.

Sources close to Vadra later claimed he thought it was a private photographer, not a journalist, asking the question.
