Minor rapes 4-year-old in Kolkata BJP party office - Times of India

KOLKATA: A four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a minor boy inside a BJP party office near Behala Chowrasta on Friday. The minor, aged around 17, was apprehended by Behala Police.

Police said the girl's mother came home around 3pm and found the child missing. Their neighbour, a car cleaner, was also missing. Neighbours launched a search and heard muffled noise from the party office.

"When the locals asked the political workers to intervene, they opened the shutters from where the accused fled. The girl came out crying and a physical test on her later confirmed rape. We apprehended the accused after a thorough search," said an investigating officer. DC (Behala) Rashid Munir Khan said everyone cooperated in keeping the situation under control. "There is no political angle in the crime," he said.
