The solar-powered 'Solar Impulse-2' aircraft landed in north India's Varanasi city on Wednesday.
"Successful night landing for @andreborschberg in #Varanasi #India! #futureisclean #RTW," Solar Impulse tweeted.
After a week's stopover in Gujarat's Ahmedabad city, the aircraft earlier started its journey to Varanasi.
Earlier the team had tweetedabout it delay: "BREAKING: @bertrandpiccard blocked in #Ahmedabad to get a stamp in his passport. Does anyone can help? #Si2passport ."
Powered only by solar energy, the aircraft is on a world journey without having to use any fuel. Next to India, it will fly to Myanmar, China, the US and will return to Abu Dhabi.
