Guwahati: As the toll in the savage attacks by Bodo militants in Assam rose to 31 Sunday, a National Investigationg Agency (NIA) team will visit the state on Monday.

As the tension continues to prevail high, the Assam government has relaxed preventive curfew in two districts Baksa and Chirang districts from 10 am to 5 pm. However, no such relaxation has been made in Kokrajhar district.

However, there has been no incident in the last two days as central and state security personnel along with the Army are working relentlessly to bring the situation back to normal.

After initial refusal, family of 18 people killed by Bodo militants on Sunday buried their dead after the Assam government assured to punish the culprits and provide security to the people living in Bodoland Territorial Area Districts (BTAD).
