Many trains short terminated, diverted after derailment of Diva–Sawantwadi ... - Times of India

MANGALORE/MUMBAI: Some passenger carrying trains have been cancelled, short terminated or diverted following the derailment of train 50105 Diva-Sawantwadi passenger train between Nagothane and Roha section at 9.30am on Sunday.

A Konkan Railway release stated that refund will be given to passengers for cancelled or terminated trains.

The details are as follows.

Train 12052 Janshatabdi Express on May 4 has been cancelled.

The short-terminated trains are: 10104 Madgaon- CSTM Mandovi Express at Thivim; 50106 Sawantwadi-Diva passenger at Ratnagiri and 50104 Ratnagiri-Dadar at Roha.

The UP trains that are diverted are: 12617 Ernakulam-Nizamuddin Mangala Express which left Ernakulam on May 3; 16346 Trivandum-LTT Netravati Express which left Trivandrum on May 3; Train No. 16312 Kochuveli-Bikaner Express which left Kochuveli on May 3 and Train No. 22476 Coimbatore-Bikaner AC Express which left Coimbatore on May 4.

Konkan Railway officials have rushed to the spot for assisting Central Railway in relief and restoration work. One ARMV (Accident Relief Medical Van) and one ART (Accident Relief Train) have been dispatched to the site by Konkan Railway. All possible assistance, as requested by Central Railway, is being extended for a quick relief and early restoration.
