Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi’s invite to Nawaz Sharif for the swearing-in ceremony has upset the widow of martyred Indian soldier Hemraj. She has demanded that the Pakistani PM bring either bring back her husband’s head or denounce the barbarous act of Pakistani soldiers who beheaded her husband.

Dharmvati, the widow of Lance Naik Hemraj, called the move an ‘insult’ to the sacrifice of a soldier and asked Sharif to either bring the head of her husband or condemn the barbarous killing.

Last year on January 8, Hemraj was killed and beheaded by Pakistani jawans in Poonch sector of Jammu & Kashmir.

His widowed wife has also said that Modi shouldn’t have invited Sharif in the first place. Dharmvati added that she voted for BJP as Modi had condemned the inaction of Manmohan government and challenged Pakistan in his Mathura’s speech.

She also claimed that Gen VK Singh had even promised to take revenge then.

Dharmvati plans to go on fast from Monday against Sharif’s presence in the country.
