Sensex rallies over 200 points; top 20 intraday trading ideas for today - Economic Times

NEW DELHI: The S&P BSE Sensex pared some of the intraday gain but was still trading higher by over 200 points in trade on Friday, supported by gains in capital goods, power, oil & gas and realty stocks.

At 12:10 p.m.; Sensex was up 244.07 points or 1 per cent at 24,618.47. It hit a low of 24,697.60 and a low of 24,470.78. While the Nifty 7,365.35 and a low of 7,293.90. Earlier in the day, Sensex rallied as much as 323 points.

The 50-share Nifty index was trading 68 points higher or 0.94 per cent at 7344.60. It hit a low of 7293.90 and a high of 7365.35 in trade today.

Bharti Airtel (up 4.1 per cent), Sesa Sterlite (up 3.8 per cent), Tata Power (up 3.3 per cent), NTPC (up 3.2 per cent) and BHEL (up 3.1 per cent) were among the major Sensex gainers.

HDFC Bank (down 1.6 per cent), Hindalco (down 1.5 per cent), Bajaj Auto (down 0.4 per cent) and GAIL (down 0.1 per cent) were among the top Sensex losers.
